bmibaby announce Cardiff – Almeria flights

bmibaby announced a new service to Almeria in Spain from Cardiff Airport. The summer only service - not currently offered by a budget airline from Cardiff - will operate from May 22 until October 22 each Monday and Friday.
The budget airline expects to carry over 13,500 passengers on the new service over the summer months. Prices start from £41.99 one way including taxes and charges.
However, the airline also announced that it would axe its routes from Cardiff to Amsterdam and Glasgow from March 29. It has experienced a decline in bookings for city breaks in the current economic climate.
