stansted airport parking
70% of Stansted's passengers travel to the airport by car. The airport has a massive 27,000 on airport car parking spaces - more than Heathrow, and more even than Atlanta, the worlds biggest airport.
Not surprisingly, there is a good choice of car parks - including short-term, mid-term (or e-parking), long-term (pink elephant parking) and a growing choice of off airport car parks. You can also book valet or meet and greet parking.

About Stansted Airport Parking
There is a good choice of stansted car parks - including short-term, mid stay (or e-parking), long-term (pink elephant parking) and a growing choice of off airport parking, which is sometimes cheaper. Prices correct on page publish date.
Short stay car park: the short stay car park is situated a short walk from the terminal building.
Mid stay (e-parking) car park: The mid-stay car park is for stays of up to 5 days. It is around 5 minutes from the terminal on a courtesy shuttle bus.
Long term car park (pink elephant): You can book the on airport long term car park via the Holiday Extras and BCP links listed above. You will be in the same car park as if you book via the airport, but you will often pay less for your space (use this airport parking price comparison page).
Off airport parking: for stays of a weekend or longer (and certainly for a week or two week holiday) it is sometimes cheaper to book 'off airport' parking. The only slight downside is that transfer time to and from the airport is slightly longer (up to 30 minutes, rather than 15 minutes for on airport parking).

Meet and Greet (valet) parking: with Stansted meet and greet parking you drive to the airport terminal, where you are met by a driver. The driver takes your car and parks it for you. On your return you are met by a driver with your car at the terminal, so that you can make a speedy exit and be on your way.
Often used by business travellers, it is also ideal for those travelling with the young, old or disabled. It can be expensive for short trips, but for stays of a week or more, it isn't very much more expensive than parking at a long stay car park. Disabled parking: Both long and short-stay car parks have a number of disabled parking spaces for use by disabled badge-holders.
Motorbike parking: free motorcycles parking in Zone D of the long stay car park. There is also short-stay motorcycle parking in Zone D of the short stay car park.
