19.04.12
Ryanair has announced new routes to Warsaw Modlin airport from Prestwick and Liverpool airports. The budget airline will fly three times a week to the Polish capital’s new airport, which opens in July, starting in late October or early November, from Prestwick and in November from Liverpool.
It is including Warsaw Modlin Airport, a firmer military airport that has been converted to commercial use and is due to open on July 16, in its winter schedule. It will complement the existing Warsaw Chopin Airport, and although it is 35 kilometres outside Warsaw it will be served by a new underground rail link to the city.
