Kent Airport plans horse expansion
28.01.11
Kent's Manston Airport has started construction work on a new £250,000 inspection post for horses. The facility, which will open in April, will be able to accommodate up to 10 horses at any one time.
The EU Equine Border Inspection Post will be licensed for the importation of horses and other animals. The airport hopes to play a key role in transporting horses for equestrian events at the Olympic Games, and has offered its services to officials.
