Snow hits a number of UK airports

Heavy overnight snowfalls in England and Wales is causing problems at a number of UK airports. Below is a round-up of the current (08:00) travel situation at airports, but note, many of the roads you will need to travel on to get to the airport are affected too.
Heathrow is open, but British Airways will cancel many short-haul flights from the airport from about 10:00.
The runway at Gatwick was shut earlier this morning, but it has now reopened.
The runway at Stansted airport is closed. Passengers are advised to check with their airline before departing for the airport.
Luton airport is closed to flights for two to four hours, but passengers are advised to turn up as normal.
The runway at London City Airport is closed.
Birmingham Airport's runway will be closed until at least 08:30.
Bristol Airport has closed its runway, but passengers are advised to turn up as normal.
The runway at Cardiff Airport has been closed, but passengers are advised to turn up as normal.
