New Edinburgh Airport - Bournemouth flights announced

A low-fare Scottish airline has announced a new route between England's south coast and Scotland starting next spring. Flyglobespan will begin daily flights between Bournemouth and Edinburgh Airport on March 26 with fares from £19.99 one way.
The Dorset airport will be the second in England to be served by flyglobespan, which also flies from London Stansted. Bournemouth airport managing director Peter Duffy said: 'This new Bournemouth - Edinburgh service is great news. Edinburgh is one of our 'most requested' destinations and I am delighted that we can now offer a direct flight to and from the Scottish capital.'
Flyglobespan was set up in 2002 and is based in Edinburgh. The no-frills airline has recently set up its first long-haul flight service, flying from Glasgow to Sanford Airport in Orlando.
