bmibaby announce two new Poland routes from Cardiff and East Midlands Airport

Cardiff and East Midlands Airport will both gain new services to Poland next year from low-fares airline bmibaby. The new services are indicative of bmibaby's 'commitment to growth', the airline's managing director, Crawford Rix, said.
The airline will launch flights to the port town of Gdansk from both airports on February 9, with three flights a week from East Midlands and two from Cardiff. It will also launch flights to the Polish capital Warsaw from both airports on February 20, with four a week from East MIdlands and three from Cardiff.
Mr Rix described Warsaw as 'Poland's most cosmopolitan city' and said that Gdansk is considered 'one of the most beautiful cities on the Baltic coast.' He said: 'Both cities will also be really popular as short break destinations.'
He added: 'The UK Polish community is a modern day phenomenon. The new routes from will provide valuable links for friends and family in Poland and in the Midlands and Wales region.'
