Durham Tees Valley Airport is to strengthen its links with the local travel trade after appointing Charlotte Buckley as a new sales executive, the Peterlee Mail reports. She will spend much of her time meeting with retail travel agents and corporate clients which both she, and new airport director Steve Gill, see as vital in helping to attract increased business to the airport.
Charlotte, 23, has seven years experience in the travel trade. She told the newspaper: ‘We know there is tremendous loyalty to Durham Tees Valley Airport within the local travel trade. The key focus of my new job is to give agents selling to the public and those serving corporate clients the maximum support and information so they can best serve their customers.’
