Coventry Airport is encouraging business aviation clients to experience travelling through its new Fixed Base Operation (FBO) by offering free ground handling next month. The dedicated executive jet centre will officially open its doors on July 23 with a ribbon cutting ceremony performed by The Right Worshipful the Lord Mayor of the City of Coventry, Councillor Jack Harrison, MBE JP.
Providing first class facilities, the new terminal offers a beautifully furnished, tranquil lounge with refreshment area, workstations and a fully equipped meeting room for clients as well as outside users. For pilots, there is a well appointed rest room with reclining chairs and luxury en-suite shower room; all areas are Wi-Fi. On the second floor a suite of offices is available for rent by airlines and other related businesses.
Airport Director Brian Cox said ‘We are extremely proud of our new jet centre and want both existing and potential business aviation customers to come and experience this new facility, which is why we are offering free ground handling throughout the month of July. Coventry Airport has many advantages for the executive traveller with its central location, ease of access and exceptional levels of customer service. We are also extremely flexible and have the benefit of no slot restrictions.’
