Charity jailbreak gets a lift from Coventry Airport

Fundraisers on a charity 'jailbreak' got a boost after securing free flights to Holland from Coventry Airport.
Dave Silber, Charlotte Maytum and Britani Scott spent a fruitless 36 hours at Heathrow Airport trying to blag free tickets out of the country. But on returning empty-handed to Coventry their spirits were lifted when Thomsonfly stepped in with free flights to Amsterdam.
The trio, all staff at Nexus Music College, in Coventry, flew out to Holland on Tuesday as part of the college's rag week 'escape and evade' adventure. Participants are sponsored to get as far away as possible from the college with no money in their pockets.
And some sponsors have promised college director Dave, fundraising co-ordinator Charlotte, and promotions officer Britani that they would increase their money if they got out of the country.
A spokesman for Thomsonfly said: 'We are very pleased that we are able to help Nexus with their flights. We wish them all the luck with their fundraising.'
Money raised during the rag week will go towards the future running of the college.
