Four new routes for Coventry Airport
23.07.08
Coventry Airport - which is currently fighting a High Court battle over plans for a larger passenger terminal - has announced four new routes for next year. For the first time, passengers from Coventry will be able to fly directly to Monastir in Tunisia, Zakynthos in Greece, Corfu and Menorca.
Guy Stephenson, commercial director at Thomsonfly, said he was delighted to announce the new routes, which will run all year round from Baginton. He said: ‘The exciting new destinations for next summer of Monastir, Zakynthos and Menorca are in response to customer demand for more unusual destinations, direct from a regional airport and we expect them to sell very strongly, especially at suchgreat fares.’
