Coventry and Bournemouth Airports gain new Polish route

Low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced new routes to the Polish city of Gdansk from Bournemouth and Coventry airports, using 180-seat Airbus A320s, as well as increase the frequency of flights on other routes. It will operate three flights a week to Bournemouth and Coventry, starting from March 15, and from the same date will offer two flights a day between Gdansk and Luton and a daily service to Liverpool.
A spokesman for Wizz Air said: 'Expanding our market presence in Poland remains one of our key strategies. We are the largest low cost carrier in Poland already and we aim to become the largest airline of the country, in terms of carried passengers. The growth of our Gdansk base is another step in that direction.'
The flight details are as follows:
From Gdansk to Bournemouth: Departs 06:10, arrives 07:40 (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday).
From Bournemouth to Gdansk: Departs 08:05, arrives 11:25 (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday)
From Gdansk to Coventry: Departs 09:15, arrives 10:45 (Tuesday and Thursday); Departs 09:25, arrives 10:55 (Saturday)
From Coventry to Gdansk: Departs 11:10, arrives 14:30 (Tuesday and Thursday); Departs 11:20, arrives 14:40 (Saturday)
Fares start at £19.99 one-way.
