First Coventry Airport - Poland flight set for takeoff
13.07.07
The first flight between Poland and Coventry Airport will take to the skies today. Wizz Air's new service between Coventry and Katowice, the third largest airport in Poland and the fastest growing major airport in the country, will touch down this morning. The new route will operate 3 times a week with Wizz using a 130-seater plane.
Chris Orphanou, Coventry Airport's managing director, said: 'The new services connecting Coventry and Poland have already proved so popular that Wizz Air has brought forward the start date to earlier in July. With lead-in fares starting at £19.99, one way including taxes and fees, it's easy to see why.'
