Thomson plans to tap into the lucrative ski market by announcing a bus service to link its flights from Coventry Airport to Lyon with some of the most popular ski resorts in the French Alps.
The new bus service, which will be exclusive to thomsonfly customers, will link the flights from Coventry airport with Moutiers, Aime, St Maurice, Val d'Isere and Tignes. Flights to Lyon from Coventry airport start on December 12 with prices from £17.99 one way, including taxes and charges (these flights operate five days a week).
The bus transfers will cost from £19 per person for single and £33 return (prices vary by drop off point). Thomsonfly.com also serves ski destinations with flights to Salzburg (Austrian Alps), Venice (The Dolomites) and Malaga (Sierra Nevadas).
