Eastern add Sunday Cardiff – Newcastle flight

Eastern Airways is launching a new Sunday service on its route between Newcastle and Cardiff airports, offering business and leisure travellers a new weekend option. The introduction of a Sunday service also follows flybe’s decision to withdraw from the route.
The new Sunday service will start on October 31 and will assist business travellers heading to South Wales or to Newcastle for an early Monday start and also leisure travellers taking a weekend trip. Eastern Airways already offers two flights each weekday between Newcastle and Cardiff, and has been operating on the route since April 2006.
Sunday flights will depart from Newcastle at 17:35, arriving in Cardiff at 18:40. The return service leaves Cardiff at 19:05, landing in Newcastle at 20:10.
