Cardiff Airport in talks over trolley charge
11.07.10
Cardiff Airport could soon introduce a charge to use baggage trolleys, the South Wales Echo reports. The move is being investigated by the airport as a way of improving the service and bringing it in line with other airports, including Bristol, and comes shortly after the airport introduced a drop off fee.
There is currently no charge for trolleys at Cardiff Airport but a spokesman told the newspaper that discussions were being held with Bagport, a company operating trolley concessions. Charges for trolleys at Luton and Bristol Airports rose from £1 to £2 earlier this month after Bagport increased the fee. The charge is non-refundable.
