Two arrested over Cardiff Airport laser incident

Two men have been arrested on suspicion of shining a green laser into an aircraft landing at Cardiff Airport. South Wales Police made the arrests last night following a report from an pilot flying in to Cardiff from from Dublin.
The Airport Policing Group investigated in the Porthkerry Park area of Barry, as the crew believed the light was coming from there, and searched a car. A 21-year-old man, from Llanrumney, Cardiff, was arrested in connection with offences of endangering the safety of aircraft and possession of class B cannabis drugs. Another man, aged 22, from Lisvane, Cardiff, was also arrested on suspicion of possession of class B cannabis drugs.
