Orlando charter flights from Cardiff Airport

Charters flights to Orlando are to operate from Cardiff Airport next summer through Cosmos and sister seat-only firm Avro. Operated with a Monarch Airbus A330 flights the flights will serve Orlando Sanford airport with Monday departures between May and August.
Cardiff Airport is offering free car parking on bookings to Orlando made before the end of the year. Prices for 14-night Cosmos packages start at £699 per person based on 6 sharing a two bed apartment on self-catering basis at the Bahama Bay Resort and Spa in Kissimmee. Fourteen night flight-only rates start at £539 per person in economy or £759 in premium.
Airport managing director Patrick Duffy said: ‘Orlando has been missing from our destination map for a while, and it is fantastic news that the tour operators have decided to operate from Wales as Florida has always been a popular destination from Cardiff.’
