New Zurich flights for Cardiff Airport

Swiss airline Helvetic Airways will launch a new route between Cardiff and Zurich next March. The service will operate four days a week - each Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - using a 100 seat Fokker aircraft. It will be the first time during the airport’s history that it has had a direct route to Zurich.
Patrick Duffy, managing director of Cardiff Airport, said: ‘Research we have conducted found that Zurich is one of the most sought after business destinations from Wales. Therefore, after months of hard work, we are delighted Helvetic Airways has decided to offer this route to travellers.'
