Cardiff Airport firefighters launch charity calendar

Cardiff Airport has teamed up with Marie Curie Cancer Care and Serco to produce a charity calendar. Nine Serco firefighters based at the airport came together for a photo shoot, the third time the men have posed for the cameras following the huge success of the first edition published in 2006, and the second in 2009, which raised £3,350 for their nominated charity.
All funds raised from the 2012 calendar will be donated to Marie Curie Cancer Care, which provides nursing care to terminally ill patients, free of charge, within people’s homes all over South East Wales and at the local Marie Curie Hospice in Penarth. The calendars are on sale now for £4 with all proceeds going to Marie Curie.
