New fencing at Bournemouth Airport

New fencing has been installed at Bournemouth Airport, the day after a BBC investigation highlighted concerns about perimeter security, the news service reports.
A security expert told the BBC that the quality of fencing around the whole airfield left it ‘vulnerable’ to intruders. Sections damaged three weeks ago and patched up with plastic mesh have now been repaired. The airport said security was its highest priority - and the new fencing had already been planned.
