Bournemouth Airport launches carbon offset scheme

Passengers flying from Bournemouth Airport are now able to click on a link on its website to pay for equivalent carbon emissions savings or reductions to be made elsewhere. This service is currently offered by three airlines using Bournemouth - Thomson, First Choice and easyJet - with more airlines to be added.
Bournemouth Airport managing director Rob Goldsmith said: ‘We're taking a proactive role within the airline industry to make CO2 emission reductions already. We want to support the work of our airline partners and help encourage passengers to use a carbon off-set scheme.’
