Ryanair increases Dublin flights to UK airports

Ryanair has announced that it will base two more planes at Dublin from November 2007 - making a total of 22 Dublin based aircraft. It will launch 6 new European routes increase frequencies on a further 12 routes including flights to the UK and Europe.
Ryanair will invest $140m in two new Boeing 737-800 aircraft and will launch 6 new routes that will bring Ryanair's total number of destinations served year round from Dublin to 81 - almost double the number served by Aer Lingus - and will next year see Ryanair account for over 40% of Dublin's total traffic.
In addition to the new European routes, the budget airline will increase the frequency of flights to Dublin from a number of UK airports. Flights at Birmingham will increase from 3 daily to 4 daily, at Bournemouth from 7 weekly to 9 weekly, at Edinburgh from 3 daily to 4 daily and at Manchester from 4 daily to 5 daily.
A spokesman for Ryanair said: 'To celebrate this substantial expansion of Ryanair's business at Dublin Airport, we are today releasing 1 million seats for €10 (including taxes and charges) for travel on flights from Dublin to Britain and Continental Europe from September to December. These seats will remain on sale until midnight tonight (August 16).'
