18.06.09
A Ryanair flight from Stansted Airport to Krakow in Poland diverted to Frankfurt Hahn in Germany after it was struck by lightning, the Herts & Essex Observer reports. The incident happened on Monday and the Boeing 737-800 landed normally in Germany.
Passengers were transferred to a spare aircraft to continue to their destination, after a three-hour delay. Ryanair engineers inspected the original aircraft and cleared it to return to service.
