No UK growth for Ryanair; some cuts planned

Ryanair will not expand from its bases in the UK until at least the end of this year, the budget airline's Chief Executive Michael O'Leary said on Wednesday at a news conference announcing Irish job losses.
‘There won't be any more growth in the UK ... until at least the end of the calendar year. There are likely to be some cuts.’ Mr O'Leary told a news conference announcing job losses in Dublin and Shannon, which he blamed on the Irish Governments €10 air tax.
