Ryanair axe Stansted – Newquay route

Ryanair's Stansted - Newquay route will not return in the summer 2010 schedules, the Cornish airport says. The budget airline 'suspended' the route in October from its winter timetable both this year and last year, but did operate it in the summer.
The airport said it was ‘unlikely’ the route would be replaced directly, but added nine daily fights still operated to London's City and Gatwick airports. Flights from Cornwall to London City Airport are still available from Air SouthWest, and both Air SouthWest and Flybe also operate services to Gatwick.
