Two new capitals for Stansted
13.05.08
Stansted Airport will add two European capitals to its route network this week, when Aegean Airlines launches twice-daily flights to the Greek capital of Athens and Lithuanian Airlines launches flights to Vilnius.
Stansted Strategy Director Nick Barton said: ‘The airport offers more direct scheduled connections throughout Europe than any other airport in the UK and we're delighted to be extending those links further with the arrival this week of Athens and Vilnius on to our comprehensive route network.'
Other imminent additions to the Stansted stable include Ryanair services to Bezier in the Languedoc region of France and Italy's coastal retreat of Rimini next month.
