Ryanair boss predicts price war

Michael O'Leary, the chief executive of Ryanair, has promised a price war for cash-strapped travellers. He says that he hopes the discount drive will push other airlines under. The news comes after rival easyJet launched a sale offering 20% of every flight from the UK during the peak summer period.
Mr O'Leary told the Telegraph: ‘In the coming winter, there will be a bloodbath in the industry. We will hopefully cause most of that and the losers will be BA, easyJet and other high-fare airlines.’ Fares for those flying with Ryanair could fall by up to a 20% this year, he said. Mr O'Leary also said that his airline is now one of the most popular among travellers, and so is clearly delusional!.
