£5 Stansted fast track security trial

Stansted Airport is to trail a system where passengers can pay £5 to buy tickets to fast track themselves through security, ABTN reports. An agreement is with No. 1 Traveller, the airport lounge company will see a trail start at the airport this Thursday (September 8).
Passengers who buy the fast track tickets at Stansted can also pay for lounge access for an extra £10. The company operates two airport lounges at Stansted.
John Farrow, head of terminal at Stansted, told ABTN the scheme would enhance travellers’ experience at the airport. Phil Cameron, No.1 Traveller’s founder and CEO, added: ‘Our aim is to make every step of the journey as enjoyable as possible and this latest offering means that travellers no longer have to waste valuable time queuing to get through to departures.’
