Passengers up 12% at Ryanair

The number of passengers booked on Ryanair flights in September was up by 12% on a year earlier to 6.84 million. Its load factor - a measure of passengers against available seats - improved by one percentage point to 86% in the month.
In the year to the end of September the airline had 71.6 million booked passengers. Its average load factor was 82%.
