Ryanair seek to boost ancillary revenue with new appointment

Ryanair has appointed Sinead Finn as its new director of commercial revenue. In this new role she will be responsible for the management and development of all ancillary revenue streams at Ryanair with the exception of in-flight catering.
Ms Finn will work with Ryanair's established partners in the areas of car hire, hotels and travel insurance as well as developing new streams to further enhance Ryanair's income in this growing and highly profitable area.
Michael Cawley, deputy CEO of Ryanair, said: ‘Our ability to leverage our ever increasing passenger traffic with commercial revenue opportunities has always been the most innovative in the airline industry and we are confident, with her extensive experience within sales and marketing and her in-depth knowledge of the European market, Sinead will help us maintain its industry leading performance in this crucial area of the company's profitability.’
