The airline's load factor - a measure of how well it is filling its flights - was up 1 percentage point to 79% in March compared to a year ago. It had fallen by 2 percentage points in each of the last three months, and may have benefited from an early Easter.
In the rolling 12 months ended March 31, 2008 it carried 50.93 million passengers, with an average load factor of 82%.
