Pegasus celebrates Stansted flights anniversary

Pegasus Airlines, Turkey's largest private airline and second-largest scheduled airline, has celebrated its first anniversary of flights from Stansted Airport. Scheduled flights from Stansted to Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen and Ercan in North Cyprus launched March 2007.
Established in 1990, Pegasus flew 4.1 million passengers in 2007. The airline prides itself on providing low-cost yet comfortable flights, with a strong emphasis on service. 2008 sees the airline launch of a new promotional campaign to promote its low-cost flights, with fares starting from £29 each way for the summer season.
