Southampton Airport was named the Best Small British Airport at the Oldie Travel Awards.
Run by The Oldie magazine, which targets the over-50s, judges voted Southampton the winner, with runners-up Exeter, Newquay and Inverness. Rosie Boycott, Oldie travel editor said Southampton was an airport which made checking in as painless as possible.
