Aurigny flies millionth passenger

After 36 years of service, Channel Islands airline Aurigny has flown its one-millionth passenger. The luck millionth traveller was on a flight between Alderney and Southampton Airport.
The airline celebrated the milestone by giving-millionth passenger Margaret Storer, from Warwickshire, and her husband David two free tickets and a hamper full of goodies.
Aurigny's little yellow planes have provided a lifeline service to the people of Alderney since 1970, who rely on it for connections to shopping, business and specialist medical treatment.
