Chemical scare at Southampton Airport

Southampton Airport was put on security alert this morning after staff discovered a chemical container in the toilets.
The Chemical Investigation Unit was called and the container was taken outside the building where a cordon was placed around it. The investigation was called off after the container was found to contain cooking oil. No disruption was caused to passengers or flights.
