Blue Islands announce new Southampton - Guernsey flights

Channel Islands based airline called Blue Islands has announced a new twice-daily service between Southampton to Guernsey starting on Monday 2 July. The airline will offer a dedicated check in desk and a Fast Track channel through security at Southampton Airport, making it attractive to both time poor business travellers and leisure passengers.
Flights to Guernsey will leave Southampton in the mornings, Monday to Saturdays, at 09:00 arriving in Guernsey at 09:45. The outbound from Guernsey leaves at 07:45 arriving at 08:30. An evening flight leaves Guernsey for Southampton at 18:30 - with a Southampton to Guernsey departure operating at 19:45. This service is available Monday to Friday and Sundays.
Blue Islands Managing Director, Paul Sabin, says that the airline is delighted to add Southampton to its expanding route network. He said: 'We are giving passengers a far better way to get from Southampton to Guernsey. We hope that our attention to customer service, teamed with Blue Islands fully flexible fares, will win us market share and bring new customers to this Channel Island route.'
'We are offering an excellent weekday service that allows a full day's business in Guernsey and Blue Islands is extending its Business Advantage frequent flyer scheme to this route. For every ten return flights completed, one free flight is awarded,' added Mr Sabin.
This new Southampton to Guernsey route is operated by Blue Islands 19 seat executive Jetstream 32 aircraft with fully flexible tickets costing £169 return inclusive of all taxes and airport charges. There are no extra charges for a change of name, use of credit card or for baggage within the standard aircraft allowance.
