Passengers up 22% at Robin Hood Airport

The latest CAA figures show passenger numbers at Robin Hood Airport have increased for the third consecutive month this year. In July, 115,590 travellers used the airport, a rise of 22 percent compared to July 2009.
The most popular routes for holidaymakers and business travellers in July were Palma on Majorca, Dalaman in Turkey, Alicante in Spain, Faro in Portugal, and Amsterdam in Holland. Passengers this weekend are expected to be up by at least 3,000 – or just under 25 percent - compared to this time last year.
