New hotel for Robin Hood Airport

Passengers will soon be able to roll out of bed to catch a flight at Robin Hood Airport after work began on a new £7million on-site hotel. The 103 bed Ramada Encore hotel will open next summer and will be located just 400 metres away from the terminal in the airport's business park.
Airport chiefs believe the new hotel will be a useful base for passengers travelling from slightly further a field to catch flights from the airport. David Ryall, managing director at the airport, said: 'This is a further enhancement to airport's ever increasing offering.'
'The opening in 2008 of the first on site hotel will provide a useful base for both inbound tourists to the airport, as well as a useful facility for those who have travelled as far a field to catch a flight from Robin Hood.'
