Robin Hood Airport to get Pakistan flights

Flights to Pakistan are to be launched from Robin Hood Airport later this year. Shaheen Airlines plans to run at least two flights a week to Islamabad via Dubai by the end of the year.
The airline's operations vice-chairman, Mohammed Jalil, said: 'The service launch coincides with the acquisition by Shaheen of a Boeing 767 aircraft to meet the demand for this long haul destination.'
Details of the full schedule, prices and booking details are to be announced shortly. The news follows an announcement last week that FlyGlobespan's plans to launch of flights from the Yorkshire airport to Toronto next May.
