Robin Hood Airport to get Dubai flights

Shaheen Air is to introduce a four weekly flight from Robin Hood Airport to Dubai later this year, according to a report in the abtn.co.uk newsletter. The airline will use a two-class Boeing 767 for the service, and plans to continue the flight on to Toronto in 2007.
Operations Director, Mohammed Jalil, reported the airline established in 1991 is profitable and has now only a small government holding. Currently Shaheen Air flies to five domestic and six international destinations in The Gulf and carried five hundred thousand passengers in 2005.
