A property developer has unveiled multi-million pound plans for homes near Robin Hood Airport. Regeneration specialist 'Urban i', part of South Yorkshire's biggest property developers, Lazarus Properties, is planning the £3.5m development in Finningley - less than a mile from the hub.
The first phase of apartments at Poplar Place - a development of 21 two-bedroom homes - is aimed at investors looking to benefit from the growth of the airport, and house buyers drawn by the economic regeneration. It is due to be completed in July, with Urban i believing that its roll-out of new apartment-style homes will meet the growing need for properties near the hub.
Darryl Barker, director of Urban i, said:‘Robin Hood Airport is a real success story, bringing jobs and numerous economic benefits to Doncaster and the South Yorkshire region. Poplar Place is in a superb position for investors looking to be part of that success story. The development is ideal for buyers looking to benefit from the increasing residential property demands created by the airport's continued growth. Poplar Place is also set to benefit from plans for a new rail station less than a mile away.'
