Football fans planning to travel to next summer’s European Championships are being urged to plan ahead by Robin Hood Airport. Seats expected to sell out quickly, with supporters flying out to Poland and the Ukraine, after England continued their buildup with an impressive win over World and European Champions Spain yesterday.
Eastern European low cost airline Wizz Air offers direct flights from Robin Hood to the Polish host cities of Gdansk, Poznan, Warsaw and Wroclaw. This offers fans the chance to easily connect to these cities during the tournament to watch the football.
The tournament kicks off on June 8 and ends with the showpiece final held in Ukrainian capital Kiev on July 1. Supporters will find out where England and the other nations will play when the draw for the tournament’s group stages is made on December 2 in Kiev.
