09.05.09
Flights from Robin Hood Airport to the Greek island of Kos take off today. Thomson sent its first flight to the island from Doncaster, making the airport one of only two in the UK that will see the tour operator increase its services this year.
Jodi Stow, marketing manager for Robin Hood Airport said: ‘This new service to a fantastic destination shows the strength of our operations and reflects our ambitions to expand the airport despite the current economic climate. The flight will operate weekly and will run for 26 weeks.’
‘Load factors were consistently high with Thomson last year so the objective is to build on that and attract further growth from key players in the industry.’
