Wizz announce Robin Hood – Vilnius flights

Wizz Air have announced that they are to add a new route from Robin Hood Airport. From April 2011 Wizz Air will fly from Doncaster to Vilnius, Lithuania. The twice weekly service will operate each Wednesday and Sunday departing from Robin Hood at 20:25 and arriving in Vilnius at 00:55.
Nick Smillie, Aviation Sales Director for Robin Hood Airport said: ‘We are pleased to announce that Yorkshire’s first service to the Baltic States will be flying from Doncaster. This new route will bring a further 30,000 passengers a year through the doors at our airport.’
Vilnius will be the sixth Wizz Air destination from the airport and strengthens its position as Wizz Air’s second largest UK base. The additional route will increase Wizz Air’s total passenger numbers from the airport to 230,000 per annum.
