Arrests at Robin Hood Airport protest
04.09.07
A statement from Doncaster Police says that they were 'in attendance' at Robin Hood Airport yesterday morning, where a group of protesters had formed.
The statement adds that the police were present to allow a lawful and peaceful demonstration and to minimise the disruption to the airport and passengers. However, three people - two men and one woman - were arrested on suspicion of public order offences.
We can find no more information on this incident. We assume that it was organised by the climate change direct action group Plane Stupid. If you were there, or have any more information, please let us know.
