Robin Hood Airport upgrades check-in area and adds new routes

Robin Hood Airport has unveiled a £70,000 revamp to their check-in desks and announced new routes for 2010. Thomson and First Choice have moved in to a spruced-up check-in facility within the terminal, along with a new dedicated Customer Service Desk, four branded check-in desks, a First Choice children's play area, and a themed boarding gate.
The unveiling of the new look areas has coincided with news that the firms' owner, travel company TUI, will be adding three more routes to be served from the airport next summer. Lanzarote, Antalya in Turkey, and Monastir in Tunisia will all be available direct from the airport for the first time next year, with summer 2010 holidays now on sale.
