Laser incident at Prestwick Airport

Strathclyde Police are investigating the latest UK airport laser incident - where a green laser was being flashed into a plane preparing to land at Prestwick Airport. The incident happened on Friday, January 8, at around 20:10.
Crew onboard the plane say they saw the light while five miles north of Newmills. A police spokesman said: ‘This type of behaviour is potentially very serious. Our inquiries in to the incident are ongoing.’
