Flybe announce Prestwick – Jersey flights

A new route from Prestwick Airport to Jersey will be operated by Flybe next summer, it has been confirmed. The regional airline will operate the service every Saturday from June 19th to September 11th, providing a direct air link between the west of Scotland and the Channel Island for the first time in a number of years.
The route was announced by Jersey-based CI Travel Group, whose managing director Robert Mackenzie said he is ‘delighted’ that it would be operating the flights in partnership with Flybe summer next year. He said: ‘With more and more UK holidaymakers deserting the euro zone in favour of a holiday closer to home, we believe that this new route will prove to be popular with both new and existing clients in central and southern Scotland.'
