Transavia scrap Prestwick - Amsterdam flights
03.10.07
Transavia, the a Netherlands based low-cost airline that is part of the Air France-KLM group, is withdrawing their Prestwick Airport to Amsterdam route. The airline has yet to officially announce the closure, but flights are no longer bookable via the airlines website after October, and a reader spoke to a call centre operator who confirmed that 'we no longer have any flights on that route in November.'
The reader writes: 'My partner and I have relied on these guys since easyJet gave up the Glasgow - Amsterdam route. Between us, we travel return on the Glasgow to Amsterdam route about 10 times a year. Now we're now going to have to rely on the much more expensive KLM.'
